Welcome to
The Rewritten
What if the story you've been living is not the only story available to you?
This question sits at the heart of The Rewritten. It is a space born from a deep curiosity about what it means to be human, how we make meaning of our experiences, and how we can find our way back to ourselves when life pulls us away from our centre.

For many years, I have explored spirituality, embodiment and personal growth through a variety of practices, including yoga, breathwork, Reiki and somatic coaching. Along the way, I became increasingly fascinated by the connection between our inner narratives and our lived experience. The stories we carry influence how we see ourselves, how we relate to others and what we believe is possible. Some of these stories support us. Others can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected or limited.
My approach is rooted in the belief that healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who we are beneath the layers of conditioning, expectation and survival strategies we have developed throughout our lives. Through embodied somatic practices, we can begin to listen to the wisdom of the body and gently uncover what lies beneath habitual patterns of thinking and behaving.
I am particularly inspired by the myths, archetypes and symbols that have guided human beings for centuries. Whether through folklore, astrology, tarot or spiritual traditions, these stories offer mirrors through which we can better understand ourselves. They remind us that challenge, transformation and renewal are universal experiences and that we are often more capable than we realise.
Breathwork has become a central part of my own journey and my work with others. I am fascinated by the ways our breath can influence the nervous system, alter states of consciousness and create opportunities for healing and insight. Learning to work with our breath allows us to move beyond automatic reactions and cultivate greater presence, resilience and choice, regardless of the circumstances we face.
This blog will explore the meeting point between body, mind and spirit.
Here, I will share reflections on somatics, breathwork, mythology, archetypes, spirituality and the ongoing process of personal transformation. My intention is not to provide answers, but to offer perspectives, questions and practices that may support your own journey.
Wherever you find yourself today, I invite you to approach your story with curiosity rather than judgement. The chapters that have come before matter, but they do not have to define what comes next.
The story is still being written.
Laura
